Social Media

Social media campaigns should drive traffic to your website. The can do this in a dynamic way, building engagement with your communities and clients. At the same time, they create a platform on which to share your blog. Social media platforms should not try to be blog posts, but rather, serve as liaisons.

CASE 1: JOURNEY PURE: Building Brand image: Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest platforms.

Over time, there was a budget for some graphics and a new logo which a team member provided. You can see how much I tweeted, going from 78 to 643 tweets. I also added a photo gallery.

An initial assessment of their brand message indicated a stale and unclear image. At the time, there was no directive on what voice to portray. I found the number of Twitter followers was high but suspicious. Bought followers?

Facebook went from 188 to 386 likes. I worked to build engagement and a new identity. This in sync with their concept for Recovery facilities.

I added a Pinterest account and linked their social media accounts to stream posts. Below is a successful post that I boosted with $5 on Facebook Ad Manager

CASE 2: VOYAGE:  Building a social media campaign from the beginning. I started with little following, and grew it from 1 to 408 likes.

CASE 3: U.S. PEST: This client wanted to model their social media platforms after their competitor, Orkin. But, they had nowhere near the same budget.
Working within their budget, I used to draw traffic to their site. I connected with real customers and managed feedback and reviews. In the 69 days I managed their account, I was able to:

  • raise their traffic by 65%
  • increase their page views by 111%
  • decrease their bounce rate by 85%
